Who We Are

Marigold Learning partners with schools to mentor new teachers—so neurodivergent students belong, learn and feel safe.

Instead of impersonal induction programs and summer bootcamps, we offer a two-year relationship of dynamic workshops, personalized coaching, and community-building in true partnership with school administrators. Ultimately, we help schools develop educators who stay, grow, and make a lasting impact through our SOLID framework.

Jennifer built Marigold Learning because she witnessed new teachers use humiliation to manage the choices of students with ADHD and learning differences. She realized humiliation wasn't a character flaw — it was a missing skill. With courage and curiosity, they worked together on self-awareness, relationship building, systems management, and understanding student needs. That work became the foundation of Marigold Learning and its SOLID framework, helping teachers understand themselves and their learners so they can teach with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

If you're a school administrator who hires new teachers and is ready to reduce turnover, ease the burden of constant hiring, and stop losing institutional knowledge, Marigold Learning can help. We build SOLID teachers through foundational skills, targeted coaching, and a supportive community — in true partnership with you.

Our Approach

Building SOLID teachers from the start

The Framework for Safe, Regulated, and Responsive Classrooms.

S

Systems that Create Safety

Build solid, sustainable systems that allow the classroom to run with clarity and predictability.

  • Clear routines, procedures, and transitions
  • Automatic flow — students know what to do without constant direction
  • Systems that reduce chaos and increase psychological safety
  • Designed for consistency, not perfection
Core belief: When systems are solid, students feel safe enough to learn.
O

Outcomes for Emotional Regulation

Teachers center outcomes of their desired emotional state first.

  • Identify emotional triggers
  • Recognize body signals in real time
  • Practice in-the-moment regulation strategies
  • Shift from reaction to intentional response
Core belief: You can't co-regulate students if you're dysregulated yourself.
L

Living and Breathing Relationships

Prioritize authentic, sustainable relationships with every student.

  • Daily connection practices — micro-moments matter
  • Relational trust over compliance
  • See behavior as communication, not defiance
  • Build emotional safety through consistency and care
Core belief: Students learn from people they feel safe with.
I

Intentional Instructional Cadence

Create a grounded rhythm that moves students through learning with ease.

  • Predictable flow of the day — cadence equals calm
  • Smooth transitions between activities
  • Clear beginning, middle, and end of learning experiences
  • Instruction that feels structured but not rigid
Core belief: A strong cadence reduces anxiety and increases engagement.
D

Data-Driven Self Awareness

Teachers continuously reflect on their emotional responses and impact.

  • Self-assessment tools for emotional reactions
  • Scenario-based reflection — what triggered me, and why?
  • Pattern recognition — what keeps showing up?
  • Build toward calm, regulated, grounded leadership
Core belief: Self-awareness is the gateway to responsive teaching.

SOLID classrooms aren't controlled—they're regulated, relational, and responsive. When systems are automatic, relationships are strong, and teachers are self-aware, students experience what every child deserves: a safe place to learn and be seen.
